How long have you owned a sled dog?

3 Years

What made you want a sled dog?
The look of them. But it was mainly my hubby, he has always wanted a Sled Dog since he was young
lad. When we lost our previous dog, he would only consider getting a Sled Dog, and now we have 3.

Hubby wants a team so who knows how many we will end up with!

First sled dogs name and what breed?

Shadow - Siberian Husky (KC Registered) - 3 years old - our first taste of owning a Husky ever husky, we got her as a puppy.
Dakota - Siberian Husky - 2 years old.
Bella - Siberian Husky - 2 years old. She’s our gorgeous furbaby who we adopted from Saints in
2018.

How long have you been working as a volunteer in animal rescue, and with Saints?

2 years just with Saints, we started as a foster and helping out at some events with Shell and Dame (Midlands Coordinators).

What made you want to join SAINTS?

The amazing work and dedication of the team, I liked how
saints was run and that’s it’s all about the welfare of the dogs. I joined the team because of that
reason, I felt like I needed to help and be a part of the Saints family.

Worst owning a sled dog: The fur it gets everywhere!
Best owning a Sled Dog: How loving they are, you wouldn’t find a more lovable breed, they amaze me everyday and we wouldn’t be without them!
