Pupdate Week 2!

October 6, 2018

It's been a little under 2 very long weeks now and the rescued puppies are coming along well.

After last weeks poop rolling incident, Daisy, Maddie, Lenny, Max and Duke have been adventuring out in the car for their first lot of vaccinations. It was safe to say they caused havoc and it was all hands on deck to get them into the vets. After the lovely staff of Vets4pets Peterborough offered a helping hand, and a lot of cuddles of course, they have all successfully had their first health check.

There is still a way to go all weighing between 7-9kg a little more fat to go on still. They are all very behind in their key socialization which is being worked on, each pup is spending time with one of foster moms big kids to teach them how to behave along with a few manners.

Daisy has a narrow jaw, Max has double dew claws (easy fix when he's neutered) and Duke will need his hips checking around 1 years old and has 1 testicle at the moment. Lenny and Maddie are both good health wise, Lenny LOVES people and although a little nervous Maddie is the most confident out of all the pups.

Here are a few snaps from this week's antics, including giving SSDR’s Auntie Athena the run around.
