Available for Adoption
We have SO many dogs looking for homes and even more waiting for foster placements. ALL our dogs are assessed for a minimum of 2 weeks before being re-homed. They are also vaccinated, neutered and have any medical treatments needed BEFORE leaving for their forever homes.
We ask for an adoption donation of £250 for a dog under 12 months old and £200 for a dog over. This donation fee covers the neutering, vaccination, flea and worm treatments costs - if we are lucky.
If you would like to know a little more about a dog in our care please get in touch with a member of staff via our Contact SSDR page.
dog of the month
Meet Winter, the 10-Year-old Alaskan Malamute cross Siberian Husky!
Winter is looking for his forever home and as seen as some older dogs get a little over looked we decided to make sure he is in the spot light...
"My name is Winter and I am looking for a forever home. I was rescued from a dog pound just before Christmas where I had been for MONTHS. I was a big boy in a poor state but now I am on the road to a happy healthy life.
My Favourite thing in the world is sofa-surfing with foster Mum but I would really like a sofa to call my own.
If you can offer me a forever home fill in an adoption form today!"
NB: All adoptions are subject to a home check carried out by a member of Saints Sled Dog Rescue.
At SSDR we aim to match the dogs to homes which suit their needs, for more information on how to adopt a sled dog with us go to our contact SSDR page.
