Why You Should Sponsor Us!

ABOUT JESS AND AVALANCHE

Black & White

These are sisters Jessica and Avalanche. They have been in Saints care for 4.5-years and are still looking for their forever home.

The girls came into us after being found in awful circumstances, in a pen with filthy water, barely any food and no human contact. This meant that they were petrified of humans and had never lived in a home. Whilst in foster care they have both come along AMAZINGLY, having gained the trust of their foster mum. They are still weary of humans, although like to be nosy and would suit a home where they have freedom to come to you as they please.

Jess and Avalanche cannot be walked on a lead like most dogs and would suit someone who has lost of secured land for them to run around in. They LOVE going to the off lead field but have very specific ways of being able to transport them in crates. Despite them being shy, they still like their home comforts.

They have BOTH had cancerous tumours removed and are very healthy girls.

They cannot be separated but are happy to live with other dogs.

VET VISIT

January 2021

Foster mum found a nasty lump on Jess, rather than taking Jess to the vet which really stresses her out, the vet trusted her foster mum to take a sample from the lump. The vet decided that the lump needed to be removed and Jess went in for her op as well as some bloods. Even though she was scared she let the vet handle her.  After the op we got the results that it was a rare tumour that the vet is confident it won't come back but we need to keep an eye on it.

CUDDLES WITH MUM

December 2020

Our foster had a proud foster mum moment where after 4 years Jess & Avalanche both decided to get up on the sofa and lay next to her. It didn't last very long but it happened and that's a huge achievement for these girls.
