The team would like to wish our Founder Heather a MASSIVE Happy Birthday!
For those of you who don't know Heather, she started Saints Sled Dog Rescue in 2013 after rescuing Athena who is now one of the Saints mascots! Heather has been rescuing for almost 15 years and in that time she has fostered over 600 dogs!!
We can't thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication to the rescue, she selflessly makes sure each SSDR dogs needs come before her own.
Heather and the rest of the team at Saints Sled Dog Rescue have a dream of building the SSDR Rescue Kennels. We would like to be the very FIRST sled dog specific facility in United Kingdom which offers breed specific rescue kennels, overnight boarding, daycare, grooming, hydrotherapy, supplies AND educational centre. All-under-one-roof!
